Cake smash photo shoots are a delightful way to celebrate your one's FIRST BIRTHDAY! These sessions capture the joy and curiosity of a child exploring a cake with their hands, making for memorable and adorable photos! Picture this: little hands diving into a yummy cake, pure joy and curiosity lighting up their faces. Even if baby cries during the shoot, those moments can still be adorable, adding to the charm and authenticity of the experience. The overall result? A treasure trove of cute and unforgettable snapshots that capture the sweet chaos!

CAKE SMASH - $398

  • Up to 1 hour of shoot time

  • Custom created backdrop (you choose a theme or color scheme and we provide ALL of the props).

    • Themes: From whimsical fairy tales and adventurous safaris to beloved cartoon characters, we can bring any theme to life. Our team is skilled in creating detailed and imaginative backdrops from scratch that complement your chosen theme.

    • Color Schemes: If you prefer a more subtle approach, we can focus on a particular color palette. Whether it's soft pastels, vibrant primaries, or simple neutrals, we ensure the backdrop harmonizes with the cake and any props.

  • Takes place at our indoor portrait studio

    • Additional $100 for outdoor location

    • Additional $100 for parent/family shots

  • You provide the cake, we provide the rest! (You are more than welcome to bring any props of your own as well!)

  • Online viewing gallery of all images

  • 25 Full Resolution custom retouched digital images via download

  • Print release (this means you can print wherever you want as many times as you want)

  • Professional media ordering options (i.e.: professional prints, albums, canvases, holiday cards, announcements, etc)


  • First half of the session will be for "1st birthday" pictures. Usually in a nice outfit to go with your backdrop.

  • Second half of the session with be the actual cake smash.

  • Included at no additional cost - Optional “Bath Splash” after the cake smash. -in studio only ($100 value).

  • Included at no additional cost - Optional Balloon Garland to go with your color scheme ($40 value)
