- The Corrales Location #1
This beautiful spot is located about 10 - 15 minutes into Rio Rancho, NM. We meet at a gas station located on the NorthEast corner of Highway 528 (rio rancho) and Corrales road. From there, you will follow me about 3 minutes onto a dirt road to the actual location.
This location has lots of elements. The big beautiful bosque trees, dirt trails, the pretty sandia mountains in the background and the actual rio grande river.
- The Alameda Open Space
Also know as the Bachechi Open Space. The parking lot is located on the SouthWest corner of Alameda and Rio Grande Blvd.
Probably my favorite location! This wonderful location is easy to find, has a large parking lot... It's full of nature trails, tall trees, a large grassy area, a duck pond, and a little bridge. This location also has restrooms to change outfits!
- Elena Gallegos Open Space (Foot Hills)
To access the park from Interstate 40, exit on to Tramway north. After the Academy Road traffic light turn right onto Simms Park Road and travel east to the Information Center.
This location is very close to the Sandia Mountains and is mainly open space with great trails and breathtaking views of the city and sunset.
- Hyder Park
This is a beautiful park with lots of green grass and big tall trees. It nestled in the heart of Albuquerque in Nob Hill. One of my favorite parks!
- Botanic Gardens
The botanic gardens has TONS and TONS of different areas to shoot a photos session. It has several different types of plants, flowers, water features, structures, and buildings that provide a variety of scenic backgrounds. My favorite time for this location is in the Spring!
*FYI... this location requires a $25 photography permit fee that you will be responsible for (as well as your own admission fee).
- Albuquerque Old Town
This is a beautiful location that has several different areas for photos and its beautiful all year round! Its Pueblo-Spanish style architecture with flat-roofed buildings and soft contours of adobe mirror the Southwest landscape. My favorite time of year for this location is the Winter! When everywhere else looks bare and dry, Old town still looks beautiful!
- Hartnett Park
This is also a great year-round park for any type of session. Its very versatile with lots of open green space, walking paths, beautiful Evergreens, old fences, and a neat stucco barn full of personality. This park is located off of Rio Grande and Chavez Rd in Los Ranchos.
