Santa Fe, New Mexico is a wonderful location to have a wedding. The art derived from Native and Spanish culture is gorgeous. Santa Fe has many locations that are a wedding photographer’s dream! From the brick pathways to the vibrant art and southwestern style buildings, there are photo opportunities everywhere!
Before I go any further… Congratulations Sarah and Zach! I wish you the best in your new lives as husband and wife! I enjoyed working with this couple to make their wedding dreams a reality. We captured the love, the laughter, and their wonder over what the future holds. They will be able to look back on the very special moments of their special day whenever they need a little reminder of where it all started.
This is why I do what I do as a Wedding Photographer! Capturing these special moments for my couples to cherish forever is so fulfilling. Keep scrolling to see some of these beautiful Wedding day moments.
Sarah had a gorgeous bouquet of flowers that was wild and very elegant all at the same time. A beautiful standout bouquet can really make the bride’s wedding photos pop. This would be one of those special bouquets. It went perfectly with her long flowing lace wedding gown and veil. The groom, Zach complimented her well with his blue suit, burgundy tie, and rose boutonniere.
They had a very intimate wedding with close family all around to celebrate their union. La Posada is the quaint wedding venue their ceremony and reception were held at.
The night began with a courtyard ceremony at sunset where each professed their love for each other and vowed to cherish their marriage forever. After the ceremony, we took a stroll around Santa Fe Plaza to capture the beauty of Santa Fe and this newlywed couple.
I love capturing wedding photos between the brightly painted wooden beams in Santa Fe, they make really beautiful photographs. Sarah and Zach
At the reception, an exquisite meal was served to the entire family who gathered around a long table with the bride and groom to celebrate their big day. Dinner started with a green leaf salad and a toast from the father of the bride. The family enjoyed an elegant meal before the bride and groom hit the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife.
The two shared some laughter and loving gazes as they danced into their new life together. Then the rest of the family joined them for some fun on the dance floor. Later on, the father of the bride joined her for a special father-daughter dance; the mother of the groom followed suit with her son in a special dance signifying a handing off of their children to become one and begin a family of their own.
