Nautical One Year Milestone Cake Smash Photography in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Ahoy matey! This cake smash photo shoot was smooth sailing all around! Sweet, sailor Duncan was so stinkin’ cute in his nautical theme for his one year milestone cake smash photography session! This theme was so fun and meaningful since Duncan is named after his Mom’s grandpa who was a sailor! I adored the special props and family mementos they brought such as the sailboats. Also, his outfit was just so precious - take a look at that hat and those adorable boat shoes.

Mom also chose donuts instead of cake and while not as messy, they were just as delicious! Baby boy didn’t seem to notice the difference one bit as you can see him diving right in to the sweet icing.

2021 Senior Photography in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Soon to be 2021 Cibola High School grad Rebecca and I had a great time for her senior portrait session in the foothills in the Elena Gallegos Open Space! This radiant beauty exuded pure confidence and I couldn’t love it more! Rebecca wanted to incorporate two different outfit changes to add a little flair to her shoot. She did an amazing job choosing a dressier look and a more casual look with her jeans and boots. We definitely highly encourage our clients to model different looks if they choose to - It adds some great variety to the final images and let’s our client’s personality shine through! I especially love when grads are able to show off their letterman jackets and cap and gown. It is something to be so proud of, so why not show it off?!

Snowy Winter Family Portraits in Albuquerque, New Mexico

What a gorgeous family to match a gorgeous snowy day! We met at the Doc Long Trail in the Sandia Mountains which is a just short drive from Albuquerque and boasts a stunning natural landscape. The huge trees and snowy trails made for the perfect backdrop for this family portrait session.

Larger families are super fun to photograph and often do require a little creativity to get everyone to look in the same direction at once (especially with littles) but the Merewethers passed with flying colors! We had a lot of fun and laughs and they sure looked good doing it! Isn’t the couple shot of grandma and grandpa adorable? I hope they are able to cherish these images forever!
