One Year Milestone Cake Smash Photography in Albuquerque, New Mexico

This one year old cake smash session was SO COOL! Sweet baby girl Arya had so much fun turning ONE! The black swan theme was incredibly unique and gorgeous. There were so many amazing details for this shoot that I can’t even pick my favorite. I loved the juxtaposition of the black balloons and feather boa against the white background and balloons. The small pops of baby pink tied it all together perfectly.

And that CAKE! The delicate swan cake made by Honey and Salt Cake Co. was by far one of the coolest cakes that I have photographed for a cake smash. Boho + Butterflies One Year Milestone Cake Smash Photography in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Boho + Butterflies theme was a perfect match for sweet Miss Aria! Her one year old cake smash session in our studio in Albuquerque, NM was both beautiful and magical! I loved the mix of textures and colors from the mossy garland studded with bubble gum pink butterflies, to the precious dress with sequins and tulle, to the ruffly ombre pink cake on that gorgeous gold and diamond cake stand. Not only were the details perfect, Aria could not have been an easier and more fun baby to photograph!

Her smile she did make my heart flutter! Happy One Year Birthday Aria!

Oh.my.goodness. How gorgeous did these photos of newborn baby boy Mariano turn out? I especially loved the black and white photos of sweet baby boy being cradled by Mom and Dad. These are some of my favorite types of shots I take during newborn photo sessions. Capturing such tender and loving moments is the best part of my job, by far!

We recommend bringing your newborn in around 14 days old or younger to ensure the sleepiest, most posable baby! Mariano did amazing even at 4 weeks old. I even caught him giving the camera a sleepy little smirk as he was snuggled up on the tiniest little bed. SO CUTE!
