Katie and Alex’s Santa Ana Resort Wedding

Katie and Alex had a gorgeous wedding at Santa Ana Star Casino and Hotel located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The wedding party used the hotel rooms to get dolled up for their beautiful day. Then they headed to a lovely Catholic church for the ceremony and back to the resort to capture these wedding photos outside against the stunning desert landscape and majestic mountains.

Santa Ana Resort is a wonderful place for wedding photography. They have gorgeous landscaping for some breathtaking outdoor photography. Natural lighting, green trees and grass, a pond and those great Sandia mountains in the background create the perfect atmosphere for wedding photography.

Katie and Alex’s special day started in their great hotel rooms. Even these rooms inside Santa Ana Resort were picture perfect as you just saw in the wedding photos above. I captured candid photos of the bride and groom getting ready to profess their love to one another.

Details are so important in wedding photography. I know how much work goes into each and every detail on this special day so we make sure to capture them in the photo session. A close up of the wedding rings, the accessories that adorn the bride’s bouquet, her shoes and veil and all of the dresses before they’re put on by the bride and her bridesmaids. Each of these items are carefully arranged for photos that will bring back memories of each detail on their big day.

Inside of the wedding chapel, we stay prepared to capture that very first kiss as husband and wife and the happiness on the couple’s faces afterward.
