Elkwood Manor Bed and Breakfast Wedding Venue Review

We love when our photography business takes us traveling. We shot a gorgeous wedding over at the Elkwood Manor Bed and Breakfast that’s located in Pagosa Springs, Colorado last year. Then, we were able to return to the beautiful wedding venue for a review!

Elkwood Manor is a gorgeous place to just disconnect, relax, and enjoy the beautiful scenery in Pagosa Springs. This Bed and Breakfast is a serene place that is surrounded by great outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, biking and more.

This wedding venue has the feel of a huge cabin in the woods. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city to disconnect, realign, and refresh your soul, this is the place for you. The rooms feel like cozy homes away from home.

It was a great place to capture breathtaking wedding portraits. You will LOVE the scenery. The wedding photos from this wedding venue were even featured on the Rocky Mountain Bride blog. Check out the Summer Wedding at Elkwood Manor Bed and Breakfast.

Noah's Event Center Wedding | Wedding Photographer Albuquerque, NM | Wedding Photographer Santa Fe, NM

Noah’s Event Center Wedding in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Amber and Otto had a gorgeous wedding at Noah’s Event Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This cozy venue packs a punch with its open spaces and ceremony area that opens up into the courtyard. Friends and family gathered inside where they were covered from the sun as the wedding party lined up in the courtyard where Amber and Otto committed their lives to each other for better and for worse.

Amber was dressed in a breathtaking lace gown that draped to the ground and wore her hair in an updo with cascading curls that framed her face. Her bridesmaids each wore flowy burgundy dresses that complimented the burgundy ties the men were wearing.

The groomsmen were dressed to the nine in their grey suits and black dress shoes. And the groom looked mighty dapper in his black suit and grey tie which set him apart from the groomsmen. The flower bouquets held white, pink and deep red roses with green foliage that spilled out the sides.

Noah’s Event Center did not disappoint. The venue was perfect for the beautiful decor at this wedding. There were so many special little details. From the fresh plants on the chair ends to the flowing fabric that hung from the ceilings with soft twinkle lights behind, everything looked magical.

The tables at the reception were beautifully decorated with white linen and burgundy napkins folded into triangles. The centerpiece featured lanterns with white candles inside and green foliage around it. Each guest received a cute little brown box at their table that held their special wedding favor.

The delicious cake was a simple elegant white 3 tiered cake with beautiful roses to match their color scheme and a topper that reads, “finally”. lol, That might be a little clue as to how long it took Otto to propose. Better late than never, right??

What a fun wedding! Oh! And I can’t forget the awesome prop the guys brought out for their part of the wedding photoshoot. An awesome blue old school car! It was a total guy thing, and I loved it! This is what a wedding is all about, family, friends, love, and adding special touches that are meaningful to you.

At the end of the day, it isn’t about having the best wedding to compete with your peers, it isn’t about having the coolest entertainment, or the most expensive attire. Your wedding is about bringing family and friends together to celebrate the love you and your significant other have for each other.

These moments shouldn’t be stressful, they should be fond memories that you can look back on for years to come. We love that we get to deliver the best part of the wedding day (besides marrying the love of your life). We deliver sweet memories that will be cherished.
