New Mexico Wedding at Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe

The new Mr. and Mrs. Smith were wed on October 26th, 2018 at the elegant Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe. This newly wed couple was a joy to work with and we were able to capture many special moments on their special day to feature in the highlight video we created for them below. My favorite part of their wedding highlights is where they each read love letters they exchanged before saying their vows. You can hear the adoration they each have for each other in their letters. Make sure you have your tissues ready, it’s a tear jerker!

The wedding venue that the Smith’s wedding was held at is absolutely gorgeous! The Four Seasons Resort is settled on 57 acres of beautiful southwest countryside. This little gem is hidden in the Sangre de Cristo Foothills in Santa Fe, New Mexico and is surrounded by the perfect scenery for wedding portraits that are to die for. Make sure you scroll to the bottom of this page to see the breathtaking sunset we were lucky enough to capture after making a little trek up to the top of a hill at the resort. We captured several enchanting pictures in this one location atop the wooded hill with the golden sunset nestled just behind the trees giving us the perfect lighting.

The bride, Venessa looked incredible in her lacy strapless wedding dress with a long flowing train that she purchased at the local family owned Ann Matthews Bridal. Ann Matthews has been doing business for over fifteen years and has a gorgeous selection of wedding gowns.

Venessa was pampered for her special day by Downtown Color Bar Beauty Lounge where her wavy updo was styled by Denise Fernandez and her classy makeup, which accentuated her natural beauty, was done by Jenna Garcia. And let me tell you, that makeup held up great with all of the happy tears that were shed!

Fabian complimented his bride very nicely in his dark gray suit that he picked up from Men’s Wearhouse. The Groomsmen’s outfits were also from Men’s Wearhouse and I have to say, they all looked striking! The groom wore a black button up shirt under his suit with black dress shoes while his groomsmen complimented him with white button up shirts under their light gray suits and brown dress shoes.

Not to take away from the handsome groomsmen, but can we talk about these lovely bridesmaids?? They found their backless flowy bridesmaids dresses at JJ’s House, an online retailer of every type of special event dress you can think of! The website boasts its exceptional customer service and high quality, affordable dresses. The ladies looked fabulous in their bridesmaids dresses which alternate between a pink rose color and lavender which made my job as a wedding photographer a little too easy. Venessa and Fabian’s wedding reception was a blast, I hardly felt like I was working. The reception hall at Four Seasons Resort was decorated with white and lavender roses to match their delectable wedding cake. The four-tier wedding cake was beautifully designed by Crystal Jaramillo. The cake is so simple with its white frosting and rose accents, yet so alluring. Crystal did an amazing job with it.

The DJ who got the wedding reception party going was Styles DJ Services . He kept everyone happy as they danced the night away and celebrated the newly wed couple, Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

The wedding party did all of the flower arrangements themselves. And again, it came out so simple, yet so elegant. The flowers used in the bride’s and bridesmaid’s bouquets and all other flower arrangements are from Peoples Flower Shops.

The fairytale-like day ended with sparklers under a starlit sky as the newlywed couple exited the reception and shared one last romantic kiss in the company of their friends and family.

From the breathtaking venue to the stunning dresses and beautiful flowers, there was no detail in this wedding that was not taken care of. This made my job so much easier! The gorgeous landscape, beautiful bride, handsome groom, and well dressed bridesmaids and groomsmen made for high end wedding catalog quality photographs which you will see below.
